Lyla Williams only has two months left until she graduates high school and thought that her perfect senior year was a done deal. She never could have foreseen her childhood nemesis moving to her hometown and changing everything. Yep, Jagger Woods, the guy she dreaded seeing every year when their families would vacation together in the past, was suddenly in her everyday life. She hasn’t seen Jagger in three years after his family moved to Europe and had thought she could escape ever having to see him again.

Now with the Woods family back, their parents think it would be a great idea to go on another vacation, just like old times. But old times is exactly what Lyla is worried about. Memories of his constant pranks on her and how they argued more than they got along, were still fresh in her mind. Not to mention what happened the last vacation they went on together, which she refused to think about and was something she had kept hidden, even from her best friends.

As Lyla is stuck on a seven day cruise with Jagger, she starts to realize he's changed and that this time it seems like her heart is the one playing tricks on her because she couldn't possibly be falling for him, right?
